liked it

After starting at the END of the Inspector Rebus series I thought I'd go back and test some earlier books to see how this character developed. seemed sort of an 'old story' - the bull in the china shop, subtley sorting curmudgeon detective...

So I tried this one (because it was in my eLibrary, among other things!). Interesting but Rebus is intentionally obscure and keeps secrets so you can't really 'love' these things, least I can't. But I do hunker down to a good whodunit.
