There was so much going on in this book with the various crimes, but I was more interested in what was going on with Lucy. It seems for the first time in a long time Lucy was made to doubt herself and her abilities. Her superiors seemed to keep giving her a slap on the hand, yet she was the one who managed to connect the crimes together, find Ivy, and find and figure out so many of the major clues.

I found myself admiring Ivy. She might now have been lily white, but she did the best she could to survive her teens and the aftermath. I liked that she looked out for the other girls and protected them the best she could.

I am not sure what to think about Sean and what he learned. I have a feeling that that info will come back into play in the future and there is no way that Paxton will go away quietly, I just hope that he doesn't take down Lucy in the process. I guess we will have to wait until the next book to find out for sure.
