it was amazing

I did not think I was going to like this book, but I was wrong! Every year in Quill, the 13 year-olds are divided into categories--the Wanteds go on to the university, the Necessaries are kept to provide necessary labor, and the Unwanteds are sent to death. Quill is a terrible place with strict rules and harsh consequences. Aaron becomes a Wanted, but his twin brother Alex is an Unwanted. As Alex and his group leave Quill, they discover a new home--Arteme'-a land of color, magic, and creativity. The children here learn to love, to create, and to be happy. They also learn that each person must choose his own road, that people can change, and if they work together and have courage, they can overcome evil. This book is fun, with good action and twists and turns, and very thought-provoking. Great read!
