Eric T. Voigt's Reviews > End Zone
Six stars. My favorite DeLillo yet. A number of hysterical scenes, in content and in emotional elicitation. So much philosophizing, with much import attached that is sentences later dismissed as meaningless. A great number of dialogue exchanges I would've snorted and guffawed at if I wasn't hurrying on to the next best group of words. I don't know how much of himself DeLillo put into the character Gary Harkness, but it'd be nice for him if it was a lot. This book did what appears to me whatever the Sam Hell it wanted to and I thank it.
