it was ok

Had some creepiness, but I get pretty weary of Stephen King's style with its rambling--there are some brackets that run for half a page or more before you get back to the sentence, & by then you've forgotten the first part. Plus, he's too fascinated with male genitalia. (Example: when climbing a spiky fence at night, or otherwise in mortal peril, you're not worried about breaking a leg or skewering a lung; apparently, your main fear is of damaging your gonads, and you must contemplate this possibility in detail.)

I read lots of Stephen King in middle school (because "Oo, it's so good, it's so scary") and saw these problems pop up every time.
