it was amazing
bookshelves: young-adult-reads

Saba, 18 years old, her twin brother Lugh, their younger sister Emmi and father all live in a desert that used to be lush and green. Then one day some strangers come and kidnap Lugh, kill their father and leave the two girls to fend for themselves. Saba and Emmi travel a great distance to a friend of their parents so that Emmi can stay and Saba can go and find Lugh. However, Emmi doesn't stay and follows Saba on the perilous journey. The two girls face life and death situations and must find a way to survive. I don't usually like post apocalyptic novels, but after I got about half way done I found myself loving it. The story was excellent and I laughed and cried. This is an excellent read.
