it was amazing

Certainly worth all the praise it receives.
It's one of very rare cases where you read/listen to research and that sounds interesting and engaging. The way the book has been laid out is a really good approach in presenting research to a wide audience.
About the subject matter, well it's a holy grail of information and discoveries about our very own, Brain! Although I came across many other books/content (that I guess has been based/inspired out of this book only) before reading this so some of the biases mentioned were already known to me but there's a whole lot of other stuff I found mind blowing. Even the ones I already knew, I feel the other sources weren't able to communicate and place them in my head as this book did.
I could write a whole essay on it but I guess the interested audience is well aware of what a contribution this book and the research already is. Hands down in praise.
