You might find it difficult to put The Hunger Games down once started. It is absolutely full of tension and ferment. It is a book to that you can't help but get wrapped up with the characters and what is going to happen to them next. Characterization is excellent, dialogue believable, and conflict high.

Although The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is promoted as a book for young adults, it is passionate and violent. Parents should read it to see if it's suitable for children. Mind you, if they can hack it with the Harry Potter series, they should be okay with this.
