If you've never read anything by Michael J. Fox, go ahead and read this. It's a short book, with anecdotes from Fox's life, set in a manor that relates his life experiences to things you might study in college. Those stories are interesting, yes, but almost everything he talks about is covered in his two other memories, Lucky Man: A Memoir and Always Looking Up: The Adventures of an Incurable Optimist, sometimes word for word. There are a few new stories here or there, but not enough that felt it fresh. If you have the time or inclination, I would recommending picking up one or both of those to read. This one, I would consider more of a gifty book for a graduate, or perhaps a MJF introductory book.
