This is the BEST Doctor novel to come out since the relaunch! Perhaps the best written, and, trust me, I've read over 50 BBC Doctor novels. It made me tear up in the end. Flawless in every way! A young man's wife dies on a road and the last thing she sees is a statue of a weeping angel. The young man then receives an envelope, written in his own handwriting, telling him to do everything in the typed letter and "YOU CAN SAVE HER". What follows is fantastic time paradox adventuring, with humor, romance, and just a bit of bittersweetness. There were surprises aplenty, and every characters' voice rang true to their counterparts on television. Why couldn't the last season of Doctor Who had this for an episode? Jonathan Morris needs to be shackled to a keyboard to write another Who adventure. I cannot recommend this highly enough!
