Yay, this book is fun! Ghosts are real, of course, and ouija boards definitely work and you shouldn't mess with them; but I forgive Richard Wiseman for not knowing this, because he also knows all the fascinating reasons why the brain seems to experience some things as paranormal, and he finds human beings much more interesting and complicated than ghosts. I applaud this! Some of it is a bit 'well, duh' (unless, I suppose, you really are a diehard believer in the paranormal), but there are genuinly informative bits as well. And he seems to have a sense of humour and stuff. And there are experiments to try at home! Hurrah, science!
