it was amazing

Totally awesome,

I'm always impressed and very glad when a writer manages to invent a world that feels completely natural and fantastic at the same time. The characters are relateble and make sense (even the love story, considering the circumstances). I'll definitely read more of this author after this series, which isn't too common for me :P

One minor thing I didn't like so much, but isn't about this book so much as for the series, since I already read book 2 and 3 as well - The shifting perspective is both nice and weird at the same time, every second book you feel like reading another book in the same universe.
Especially since I like Cas and her pirate buut - I don't like them as much as Ridge and Sardelle and the temptation to just skim every second book as quickly as possible and not really "reading" them is very real :P

But maybe that's just me.
