it was amazing

This is the most poetic piece of prose one could ask for.
I don't want to call this a great love story, however, it is a masterfully written portrayal of the muse and her artist both stuck in an abusive, obsessive and just poisonous circle of addiction to drugs and each other. I pitied and hated them both, but ended up saving every page of this authentic account of New York in the 80's, depicted by one of Suzanne's friends, a witness of the affair at the time, Jennifer Clement.
