did not like it
bookshelves: adult, christian, nonfiction, owned-books

I had to read this book for class a while back, and while the authors had some good things to say, some of their topics relied way too heavily on the idea that a woman's value is based on child-bearing, which not only devalues women in general, but especially hurts women like me who might never have children for one reason or another, which honestly ruined the entire book for me. I think the title itself probably sums up the other issue I had with the book. Like I said, some good stuff in here, but I shouldn't have to be sorting through so much offensive junk to get to it.

Madelaine I never found the good stuff because I couldn't wade through the "offensive junk"(perfect description!). I threw this book away something I can remember doing only once before with a book!
