There are recurring images in all 3 of the Gayhardt bks I have. This has a worn Kennedy matchpack atop a dapper cartoon figure that'd had Cathy's head atop it in a different bk. These drawings are probably my favorites of the ones I have of hers - mainly b/c I like rubbings, rubbings of slide-holders & coins combined w/ the Kandinskyesque lines. The central poem begins:

"I aspire to inspire
Do not acquire
Do not retire
Do not require
Do attire"
