did not like it
bookshelves: fiction
Recommended for: No One

This is a light book. In fact, I believe it is something Cornwell wrote between Lunch and dinner one day. She should have watched a movie or made better use of her time! Her early books were great, but these last 5 or 6 are scraping the bottom of the barrel! Her characters are not developed and the plots are so simple that you just think 'who cares'.

message 1: by Michael (new)

Michael Jeeze - sounds like a lot of my books. Except in those cases it's more like, "something they wrote between starting a seven year phd and 8 years after graduating. They should have actually become an architect (since they get to teach all the seminars at my current university) or made better use of their adulthood!"

same difference, as they say...

Janet Oh yes. Ha ha.

message 3: by Mindy (new) - added it

Mindy I kept reading hoping it would get better and when I'd finished I thought "what a waste of time that was". It was fragmented, didn't make sense, and the explanations at the end we're just silly.
