really liked it

Charles de Lint has pioneered urban fantasy, mixing native american and gaelic mythology into a city setting. This is an expansion of a short story I read last year. TJ is 14 and her family moves from their farm into the suburbs. She hears scratches from the base boards and soon meets Elizabeth, a 6 inch tall teen age Little whose family has been living in the walls of TJ's house. It has a good adventure feel and was an entertaining read. Charles de Lint is one of several authors I read that has started writing young adult novel along with the adult fiction. Moving to a younger audience allows them to make lighter novels, with maybe more fantastic elements.
