There is something strangely addictive about these books. I'm not saying there aren't parts that irritate me. I find them to be a bit overwritten. Several times in the book, I thought, "Okay Juliet, get to the point," but I also couldn't put the damn thing down. I went through Daughter of the Forest the same way. Something about the story just sucks you in. Maybe because it isn't predictable or that it ends well, but with loose ends. I don't know exactly what it is about these books, but I have the next book Child of the Prophecy on hold at the library and I expect I'll fly through that book just like the previous ones.
