When I wrote the review below the line, I was in a very different place than I am today. This book is not dry. On the contrary, I feel as if I have found someone who has traveled a journey quite similar to mine. Our paths have not been identical, but they have similarities. As I got to his conclusions, I realized I have found a brother and was quite moved. I wasn't ready the first time, but today I am. I feel blessed by this book! Profound thanks to Read Aslan!

-------------------------

Generally speaking, I like this author. I enjoy the way he presents himself on television, and find him to be both intelligent and thoughtful. That being said, this book is painfully dry. In fact, should you get water in your basement this spring, you might just wave this book over the water and your basement will immediately dry. Best of all, the book won't be harmed. It's that dry.
