this book had several lines that were very aphobic. the main character's best friend is said to be aroace, but then she's constantly just referred to as ace after the initial introduction. the main character makes multiple very aphobic remarks with no challenging of them in the text even though he and the story seems to try and be accepting of her identity. it just doesn't work, and I would definitely not recommend this book to aro and/or ace readers.
