it was amazing

I have read others in the Jason Smith series and been bowled over by them, so I was looking forward to reading this latest release and I wasn't disappointed. As in the earlier books, Jason goes about his detective work with vigour and boundless energy. I get the feeling he will always 'get his man' because he would never give up on a case until he solves it. This can make him occasionally a bit too eager and he can walk over any witnesses or expert help in his ardour to solve the crime. But the reader has to love him for it.
In 'Unworthy', the women being murdered are all mothers and their children are in the house when they are murdered. As Jason and his partner Erica (also part of Jason's team) have just had a baby of their own, this killer is too close to home for Jason and the killer gets closer when Erica appears on a list of those to be killed.
I won't give away the storyline but I have to recommend 'Unworthy' as a book not to be missed. Stewart Giles' writing draws the reader into the story and keeps hold until the reader reaches the last page - and then twists the ending so the reader is left gasping for more. So, more please Mr Giles, I can't wait for the next one!
