it was ok

An intense young man finds the love of his life, moves to Seattle, then Alaska, takes LSD, mutilates himself and proceeds to go insane. If the plot sounds trite, it's because none of the characters or action grab one's imagination. The protagonist's account of his meetings with a godlike creature on Mt. Wrangell and his pursuit by a pack of wolves is tedious and unconvincing. Perhaps it was meant to be a movie.......
