Overall, I thought the book was okay. I didn't find myself rushing through to finish it. There was many different themes, a big one being good versus evil. While I feel the start was strong I honestly didn't care about any of the characters aside from Jon and Tyrion.
Some wisely given advice during the meeting of Tyrion and Jon was
“Don’t call me Lord Snow.”
The dwarf lifted an eyebrow. “Would you rather be called the Imp? Let them see that their words can cut you and you’ll never be free of the mockery. If they want to give you a name take it make it your own. Then they can’t hurt you with it anymore.”
It was such a resounding moment and what I think is good life advice.
