it was ok
bookshelves: could-not-finish
Recommended for: Those who love big words and complex sentences.

While David Foster Wallace's command of the English language was vast and nearly complete, his gratuitous use of dollar words and complex sentence structures made this massive tome too heavy for me to trudge through any farther than the first seventy-five pages. Perhaps the view over the next hill or subsequent twisted plot device could make the journey worthwhile. I may never know. There is a forest of books waiting my attention. This one is not for me.
