it was ok
bookshelves: crime-fiction

At least I've read it ..and there's nothing I hate more than serial killer fiction. There's enough serial killing here to start an epidemic and serial killing makes for easy plotting and indulgent psycho pathology.

Nonetheless, as I read, I learnt to respect the writing craft engaged and the attack on the crime novelist milieu. Having crime novelists killed off one at a time is a smart remake of celebrity murder. The way the intertwining murders are solved is a bit Holmesian in way of deductive means employed so that by the end, the novel becomes more formulaic as the means become more predictable.

Easy to read. Forgettable.
