Thanks to Judi Erlich I just got this book and was very moved by Jeannette's story. I had seen her interviewed and was very interested in her story. I go between thinking her parents (especially her mother) were really on to something as far a parenting goes to thinking they should all have been locked up for child abuse. Her father was simply and addict - same old - same old. The person who puzzles me the most is her mother - who seemed to really make some very bad decisions based on...? On not sure what.

Judi Cory - mailed it yesterday. Enjoy!

Judi Cory -- I know what you mean... her parents sort of jumproped the line between genius and insanity. I kept thinking, "I know people like this!" They just could not function in ordinary society... which would've been fine, except that they elected to have and raise children. When I was done reading the story, I felt like my chest had been cut open and my heart ripped out and left laying out on my nightstand...
