A pretty decent issue overall, but none of the four original stories are must reads. If I were to pick a favorite, it would probably be Bryan Camp's The Independence Patch, about a teenager who has had brain augments integrated since birth, counting down the days to his 18th birthday, when he can install the titular download.
The best story in the magazine is a reprint of "The Proving Ground" by Alec Nevala-Lee from last January's Analog. Definitely worth it if you haven't read it already.

Chris Miranda Do you get digital editions or physical copies in the mail?

I have a monthly digital subscription through amazon, along with clarkesworld, asimov's, analog, and F&SF. My other digital supscriptions are through patreon or weightless or directly from the publisher. I don't currently have any print subscriptions. Just out of convenience, really.

Chris Miranda I typically prefer to read short works digitally, but I hadn’t payed attention to what Amazon did subscription-wise.
