Mei has worked hard at being the perfect daughter. She's started MIT at 17 years old, and is pre-Med like her parents wanted. Her guilty is great for all her parents' sacrificed... but she hates germs, loves dances and misses her older brother who was banished for his disobedience. How can she balance her Taiwanese culture and her American dreams.

Why I started this book: Awesome cover and it was recommended as a fun teen book.

Why I finished it: Loved hearing the Mandarin phrases in the audio. Cute story about growing up, starting college and creating an adult relationship with your parents.
