I liked the idea behind this book. A dystopian world where basically everyone is a version of "Stepford Wives" in that they follow everything the Society tells them to do: where to work, how much to eat, what you can/can't learn (most books are banned!), leisure activities availble to them, and who they will marry (Matched with).

Cassia finds out she is matched with her best friend, but then she also learns that match may have been a mistake and she really was supposed to be matched with another boy she also knows. She starts to question the Society, and whether this is the life she wants. However, there are very few alternatives to the life she lives, and it may mean risking everything, including her family, to do this and be with the one she loves.

Good writing, sometimes a little slow in the telling, but overall a good story. I can definitely see this one being made into a movie with the "teen stars du jour" as the leads, lol. I will definitely read the sequel, Crossed, soon.
