While it hits closer to home than her experiences in Nickel and Dimed, this didn't resonate as much with me. Somehow it seemed that her experiences as an upper middle class professional were not as dire and that she wasted a lot of time and energy in her job searches. The outcome, however, is still sobering and rather depressing.
