really liked it

I'd give this 4 1/2 stars. I loved the characters and I'm sad it's over. But I felt like the end did not neatly end (I don't need happy endings but there are some loose ends). Good writing and very interesting setting and topic.

Kathrina I haven't read this yet; it's been sitting on my bookshelf for months, but I've been considering this as a title for my adult prison book group. Do you think it would be appropriate, or too controversial for this audience?
