it was amazing

A must read, especially if you want to understand the nature of war. An odd, quirky novel of incredible depth

The author, Kurt Vonegut, was a prisoner of war in Dresden, Germany when the U.S. and British planes firebombed and annihilated the city. Having lived through that experience changed his life and perception of war.
