** spoiler alert ** Ummm….only with Kim’s books….no in any kind of writing with mention of Ivy and Rachel (Jenk’s sometimes) I am very content but…I honestly don’t know what to think about this book…I still can’t stand Trent but it was nice seeing that he has some sort of feelings but as always he has some evil agenda in the works and he seems very selfish especially as far as him and his species goes. It was very fascinating reading all the sort of inside details regarding the people of the hollows, weird however that the pictures they had didn’t match up at all to the graphic novel. I can say one thing though, Piscary’s picture definitely creeped me out more than the graphic picture of him did…and learning about the Living Vampires and Undead ones made me feel that much sorry for Ivy, and I hope she gets the happiness she wants/deserve because she’s my absolute FAVORITE!!!! . Overall, the book just gives me a sense of whoa…or like why does the world I love have to be some complicated and Cruel…or like, this is just way different or this has me feeling different about Kim’s writing for reasons unknown to me. Something that is not unheard from me, even though it ended I wanted more. I’m never satisfied with the endings of the books I love, I actually want to watch my favorite characters, live, be happy, grow old and go by schedules, then I’ll easily be able accept the ending of the story, lol!…I did want more info on Ivy and Rachel though, like information starting from birth until present day and I am SO serious…oh and one more thing, Devlin’s notes couldn’t have been too accurate because Kim says Ivy was 6 feet and yet he listed her as 5’ 10, wth is up with that???
