Any of you who are knitters will love this book. Each chapter covers a different topic: history of knitting, community work, charities, world organizations, joy of knitting, teaching knitting, reference book lists, websites.

I love knitting and meet with my local group once or twice a week. It's amazing how much we get done in a couple of hours at a nearby coffee shop! We share tips and tricks, sshow our latest project and two or three times a year we collectively knit for a charity.

We inspire wach other, teach new comers and through it all we have a great time! We even go to a pub every so often, have a beer or non-alchoholic drink of our choice knit a little, order dinner and afterwards we knit some more.

This book is a gem! Mine was in e-book format but I think it is also available in print format.
