really liked it

I love how Robert Munsch in this story, shows a reversal in fairytale roles. In this book, a princess goes to rescue the prince and goes through a fair amount of trials along the way and ends up in a paper bag. Seeing a strong female character versus a damsal-in-distress was definitely refreshing! I like how at the end the Prince was not even so proud and happy she came to save him because he is so focused on outer looks. He was just upset she didn't look perfect. I like how the trials and dragon, along the way, changed her perspective to realize that the things she wanted before the journey were not what she needed in her life. She didn't want this lavish lifestyle and jerk of a prince. She realized her self-confidence and self-made achievements gave her a better validation.
