House of Night series is one of the few series that maintain a high tone, even after so many books, Destined is in fact the ninth but it was easy and enjoyable read as always. The plot is interesting, the writers keep the reader's attention always high due attention not only to history but to put in the care of the protagonists. Why, if it is true that the protagonist is Zoey is also true that this is a novel ensemble where all the characters have a personality and a well-defined function. In addition, great importance is given to the feelings of the friendship and love. Zoye, Stark, Stevie Rea, Refrain, Damian, the Twin Aphrodite are guys who suddenly find themselves catapulted into an unreal world, away from parents.Everybody with its own character and abilities, together form a single compact group against evil, and does not count the fact that adolescents who are at the bottom want a normal life. The strength of this series, in my opinion lies in this: the search for the good, faithful friend, always being yourself. Many will wonder if it is credible that Nefertiti, the bad guy, has not yet been defeated. Well I think that given how things are going in the real world, the intrigues and bad are always the last to die. Destined ,moreover, like the other series is supported by a clear and decisive writing, never boring. It 'a story exciting and evocative, intense and exciting moments in which alternate with fun as the bickering between Aphrodite and Stevie Rea.
