really liked it

My second read of "The Penderwicks" was aloud to my 5yo daughter, who seemed to enjoy it quite a bit. I like the retro tone of the book (wholesome, timeless summer adventure) that reminds me of older books like Elizabeth Enright and Beverly Cleary. I also like how Birdsall mixes the narratives of four sisters ranging from ages 4 to 11.
