really liked it

I really liked this book. Through interweaving three similar story lines, a story about being yourself in a world where it seems like yourself is never good enough is told in a different media--the graphic novel. I don't think this book would be half as effective if it were told in a different format. Part of the wonderfulness comes straight from the fact that it is a graphic novel. Yang does a great job at providing just enough culture to keep you intrigued and never bored.
