My brother gave this to me... so now I feel obligated to read it. Hopefully it's better than The Hobbit.

[Name Redacted] The Hobbit was written bit by bit as a bedtime story for his kid. This one...wasn't. ;P

Emily I absolutely adore Lord of the Rings, but I’ve been stuck in the middle of the Hobbit for years. I have the hardest time with it. One day I’ll finish it... but maybe in the meantime I should try this one :)

Yeah, The Hobbit does get pretty dull after awhile, haha. But yes, perhaps you should try this one and see how it goes? :)
