Explains the story of two sisters and their views of each other. One sister is a college student in med school, top of her class, and anorexic. The other sister is just leaving middle school, a star athlete, and is discovering the pressures of adolescence. The different ways that they view each other make this book the most interesting. It highlights how a lot of books have unreliable narrators while also showing that how we view ourselves is not necessarily how others view us in return. Besides these points, the story doesn't necessarily have a strong plot and there's an attempt at fantastical realism that isn't quite reached. Either way, the voices of the two characters are very strong and well written.
