really liked it
Read in January, 2007

This book literally fell into my hands at Borders one day, deeply on sale AND I had a coupon. Once I started reading it I couldnt put it down. He gets somewhat raunchy at times, but mainly because the Princes, Kings and Popes were very much so. Also the incredible loss of human life, which was worth nothing. But this is where I really came to understand that absolutely EVERYONE had a master, and even the master had a master, and on up. And Martin Luther really was nuts. But so was everyone else. And what a title. Cast your mind to the idea that the only source of artificial light was...fire.

message 1: by Vicky (new) - added it

Vicky This is a book I heard about years ago, when I think it had just come out in paperback, and I remember being intrigued by the thought of it. I never got around to reading it, but now I think I'll add it to my "to be read" list. Thanks!
