Follow up to 'The Gruffalo' the story is about the gruffalo's child who sets off to find the mouse his father is afraid of. After meeting various animals who point the way to the mouse the gruffalo's child meets the mouse. Realising the mouse is not as big the gruffalo, the gruffalo is not scared of the mouse, so the mouse is left to come up with a cunning plan. Needless to say the mouse is very clever and the gruffalo is soon running home to its father. This is a light hearted story with excellent illustrations and a text that will suit younger ages.
