When Tate is driving his truck and sees a storm on the horizon he knows he's going to have to pull over. He isn't willing to risk the special cargo he has with him ~ his lover Mason. Tate and Mason have been together for ten months and their love continues to grow. They have decided to join themselves together for life as husbands with a commitment ceremony with their family there to help them celebrate. Or at least, Mason knows his family will be there. Tate isn't so sure about his. No matter who attends, the men are passionate about one another, and joining together as partners as well as lovers.

This is a wonderful story which picks up with Mason and Tate. I was first introduced to these characters when reading the December Christmas Dreams story Weathering the Storm and there is also a story with them in the Reflections of Love anthology which I have yet to read. You don't need to have read the previous stories in order to enjoy this one but it is wonderful to follow the couple as their relationship progresses. Tate and Mason are definitely deeply in love and that makes reading about them quite enjoyable. Mason's family is exceptional, large and filled with the most accepting people. I am quite envious of him for many reasons, and anyone hopes to have a family be as open-hearted to the person they devote themselves to body and soul. There isn't too much angst here, and mostly this is a celebration of love, the preparations leading up to and the special day of a commitment ceremony. The vows are beautiful and so filled with meaning. This is a fun and touching story to read which celebrates the joys of being truly in love.
