it was amazing
bookshelves: 2018-read

Being able to go back to 1983 for a glimpse of Henk at the beginning of his career, and his relationship with Petra, is an absolute delight. I enjoyed this story so much and it really gave a lot of insight into what makes Henk the man he is. There's not a wasted moment in this gripping story and if you've been fortunate enough to have read the other books in this series, then you're in for a treat. So many relationships and events set in motion in youth, have a way of following you throughout your life. You would do well to follow Henk wherever he goes.
