Technically superior writing, but the story was overly emo instalove. I couldn't get past the first three chapters where the MC fell in love with someone whom he had never even talked to, only seen once in a high school play, then fell into a two year depression when he couldn't find him after the play was over. Then they meet again, but he loses the phone number and there is much crying and more depression. I scanned ahead a bit but things didn't seem to be getting any more reasonable. Also, when I was told there was a bad guy I was able to guess who it was, and that was after only reading up to chapter four or so. The writing itself is clean and enjoyable and I was really looking forward to reading the rest of this book when I started it. If you like overdone angst then you'll love this book.
