really liked it
bookshelves: audio, young-adult, british-authors

I'm not sure why, but I just enjoy British authors more. Maybe it's because they invented the language and know how to use it. This young adult spy thriller was better than I was expecting. It moved along quickly, and although the author's voice was a little dictionary-esque, the plot wasn't completely predictable. The ending was a little melodramatic, and yet I still found myself holding my breath. I wouldn't be opposed to reading the next in the series.
