it was amazing

it's a picaresque about a prague busboy.

it is riotously funny, profound, and the style winds along in this lilting singsong way that is yes longwinded but never boring and never tiring. i could read this all day. it is hilarious but also tragic; there will be scenes of hilarious depravity but also long poetic blocks of just incredible prose that can either tickle or pierce your heart--it's sincerely amazing to me that a book could be written like this.

26 bottles of veuve clicqout out of a possible 26. four winds out of a possible four. read it asap!!!
