Deviant (Condemned, #5)
I loved this book couldn't put it down. After escaping Shelton and assuming that he has moved on Rafe thinks that he and Alex are safe. Rafe gets angry with Alex because she hides her nightmares from him so he punishes her, but Alex gets angry when Rafe won't share his nightmares with her. Alex wants to marry Rafe, but Rafe thinks that a piece of paper wouldn't mean anything. Alex feels that Rafe will someday leave her and break her heart again, but Rafe gets angry at her for thinking that so he makes a decision to go back to the cabin to make her see that he would never leave her again. When Jax joins them at the cabin he is not alone, he has a woman named Angela with him. Rafe finally agrees to marry Alex, but just to keep her accupied from the news he received about her father. Alex is keeping a big secret from Rafe and it's making her feel guilty, but she intends to tell him after the wedding knowing that Rafe will be very upset with her. The morning after the wedding Rafe comes face to face with his biggest enemy, and he is threatening him to leave him with Alex or someone very special to him will die. When Alex wakes up she goes looking for Rafe, but instead finds her worst nightmare in her kitchen. Alex manages to get away from the intruder and locks herself in the cage down stairs hoping that someone will come and help her.
