it was amazing

Katie MacAlister is one of my favorite authors. Noble Intentions, another historical romance, was delightfully cheesy-funny, mostly fun-funny, full of lust and a wonderfully spirited woman! Truth be told, I am a sucker for anything involving the ton.

Noble Intentions is the story of Gillian Leigh and Noble Britton, Lord Wessex and their rather chaotic life together. Gillian, an endearing woman who stumbles through life saved only by her grace and quick wit, suffers from an 'Unfortunate Habit'...she tends to verbalize thoughts that are best kept to herself. Gillian’s ''Unfortunate Habits are a source of both embarrassment and entertainment not only for all those around her but for the reader as well! She is as unconventional as they come and it is this aspect that leads to all sorts of hilarious situations within the plot.

Noble is an interesting character. Noble is Lord Wessex, or the Black Earl or if you were speaking to Gillian, Lord of Bliss, her Lord of Fury, her Lord of Manliness and Virility, or her Lord of Pigheadedness, amongst other titles she bestows upon him. He has lost favor with the ton after being wrongfully accused of his late wife’s murder. Noble, who seeks to clear his name throughout the book is handsome, virile, muscular, generous, and loving. Everything you want from a man in a historical romance!

If you are looking for a light, upbeat, entertaining easy read that will make you laugh out loud then this book is an excellent choice!
