About two men named Wes Moore who are the same age and started out in similar circumstances, yet one is a scholar and the other is in prison. The author traces his own life as well as the other Wes Moore, and shows where and why their stories began to diverge, and then continued along such different paths. A good, short read, and the author does not make as many judgments as you think he's going to. He really lets the stories speak for themselves and lets you, the reader, make your own judgments.
